AKM is an Assault Rifle weapon which uses 7.62 mm ammo & can be found easily anywhere in the map. Despite of its high damage capacity, some players tend to avoid this weapon due to its high recoil. Recoil is the weapon’s spring back action after you shoot towards the enemy. It is further divided into Horizontal & Vertical recoil and apparently, AKM in BGMI possess a high horizontal as well as vertical recoil. Mags can prove to bue effective to spped up the reload duration as well as extend the default ammunition capacity. The mini drum mag attachment which has been added recently extends the ammo capacity to 50, however due to its rarity, players can attach extended quickdraw mag for effective results.
Scope
As mentioned earlier, AKM can be a very useful weapon in close combats and if used properly, you can even wipe out a whole squad. Scopes can help you to get a better picture of a long range enemy but equipping scopes such as 3x, 4x etc. in this weapon will produce no results as defeating a long range enemy with AKM requires great skills.
