BGMI 1.6 Update: How to play VS AI mode in BGMI?

BGMI 1.6 Update, the latest version of Battlegrounds Mobile India has brought the VS AI mode in the game which can be played in Livik map with different difficulty levels.

The latest update of BGMI has brought several changes in the game for the players and also brought back various modes and maps which were a part of PUBG Mobile. As there were rumours that Krafton is going to add a mode which will bring a lobby filled with bots, players can finally play the VS AI Mode in BGMI if they wish to improve their combat skills.

This article presents a guide for the players which will help the players to play the VS AI Mode in BGMI efficiently.

BGMI 1.6 Update: What is VS AI mode in BGMI?

There are different types of modes that BGMI offers, as of now, there are 4 modes – Classic, Arcade, Arena and the newly added VS AI mode in BGMI. The EvoGround mode will be added in the game later. AI refers to Artificial Intelligence or bots in the battle-royale game. Therefore, in the mode, players will land in a lobby that is filled with bots.

For players unaware about bots, they are the computerized players who react late and follow a basic pattern while shooting towards a player. It is easy to identify bots as they will not loot the enemy’s crate after defeating them. However, the bots in VS AI mode are much intelligent, specially if you play the Normal mode as you’ll see bots using grenades.

How to play VS AI Mode in BGMI?

Land in hot drops

For finding more bots, players should land in hot drops. Players do not need to worry as only your squad will be present in the lobby along with 96 bots. Places like Midstein, Power Plant and Blomster are ideal if you wish to find more bots. You can also land at other places if the plane’s path crossed that location.

Keep your teammates closer in Normal mode

If you choose to play in the normal mode, do not make the mistake of landing separately in order to grab more finishes. Even if the enemies are bots, it becomes difficult to defeat many bots at a single time, in VS AI mode, 3-4 bots will attack you at once, therefore it is better to stay with your teammates so that there is lesser chance of getting knocked out.

Carry enough consumables

Bots in VS AI mode provide a lot of damage to the players, therefore, it is wise to carry a good amount of consumables such as Bandage, Health Kit and energy drinks. Players should also remember that they should not heal while standing in an open area as bots can come from nowhere and knock you out.

The VS AI Mode in BGMI added in the 1.6 update can only be played with a squad. Even if the VS AI mode in BGMI is filled with bots, the ‘Normal’ mode is best to increase your combat skills and increase your teamwork strategy.
