As Battlegrounds Mobile India is considered the Indian rebrand of PUBG Mobile, fans expected that BGMI 1.6 Update will be released as soon as PUBG Mobile receives the update. However, that was not the case as PUBG Mobile already received the update and fans are wondering about the release date of BGMI 1.6 Update.

Krafton had given us the details of the new features being introduced in the 1.6 update. All of the features resembles the features of PUBG Mobile 1.6 Update. The previous update of Battlegrounds Mobile India was also released within a couple of days after PUBG Mobile received the update. Therefore, players are eagerly waiting for Krafton to release the update as soon as they can.

Krafton has not yet revealed the release date for BGMI 1.6 Update. If we look at the release date of previous update, PUBG Mobile received the 1.5 update on 9th July,2021 whereas BGMI received the update on 13th July,2021. Therefore, players can expect the release of 1.6 update in Battlegrounds Mobile India on 17th September or 18th September,2021.

C1S2 is going to begin on 17th September,2021. If Krafton decides to bring the update before releasing the new season, then players might get the update tomorrow i.e. on 16th September,2021. The update will be available in Google Play Store and App Store and the update size is expected to be same as of PUBG Mobile.

The primary content of the 1.6 update is the Flora Menace or the Cell Matrix Mode. This mode will be available in Livik, Sanhok and Erangel. These features will be a part of Flora Menace Mode-

1) Life Barrier: The life barrier or the rejuvenation barrier will provide players with a boost to their health points if they are standing near the mysterious plant, Yarilo.

2) Zillion Matrix: In the Zillion Matrix, players can fight with robots with random weapons that will be spawned across different locations. Players can collect Nacore chips by defeating the robots.

3) Dynahex Supply: Nacore chips can be used to buy supplies from the store. Players can buy exclusive loot supplies with the chips.

Improved Basic Settings

Basic Settings

The 1.6 update in BGMI will bring some modifications in the basic settings. A new feature called the capture highlights will be available which will enable the players to manifest their best momemts in the matches. They can also share these moments in the game as well as share it externally with other friends

The addition of this feature will display the plane’s route throughout the game in the mini-map. This will benefit the players as they can know the probably landing spots of enemies. Other notable features of the 1.6 update have been mentioned below:

  • Unlimited Ammo in Training Ground
  • New guns in Arena Mode
  • Improved UAZ durability (UAZ vehicle damage hitpoints increased)
  • Faster Scope Adjustments

With Season 1 of Cycle 1 of BGMI set to end on 16th September,2021. Players can also enjoy the the third month of Royale Pass that is scheduled to be released on 17th September,2021 with the release of C1S2.
