This guy was giving Duran a tough fight, so. In the 14th round, Duran knocks him out,” said Tyson. “Boom, he’s in a coma… When they asked him ‘What do you feel? He’s in a coma?’ Duran said,’ Pff, next time I’ll be in shape. He won’t go to the hospital, he will go to the f**** morgue’. My d*** got hard. I was a little boy, my d*** got hard.”  added Iron Mike.

Duran was vicious every time he stepped into the ring against his opponents. He wanted to dismantle his opponents from the get-go. The fear in the opponents was clearly visible and it helped Duran to get 103 professional wins out of which a whopping 70 were knockouts.

In his autobiographical film ‘I Am Duran‘, the legendary boxer mentioned “I was Mike Tyson before Mike Tyson came along…Fighters would take one look at me and crap in their pants. It was starting to dawn on the Americans that they’d never come across anything like me before – this eerie, deadly being with his jet-black hair, dark eyes, and bad intentions. El Diablo, they called me: The Devil.”
