Mr Olympia Winners 2023: List of winners from all the categories
The 2023 Mr. Olympia saw Derek Lunsford win, exchanging places with 2022's top contender Hadi Choopan. The event featured tough competition and high stakes across multiple bodybuilding categories.

The 2023 Mr Olympia recently concluded at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Fans of bodybuilding are eagerly awaiting the winner of the prestigious competition. The competition has a prestigious list of winners like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sergio Olivia, Lee Haney, Dorian Yates, Ronnie Coleman, and Phil Heath.
Moreover, for the 2023 event, Dava Bautista was the honorary ambassador for the event. The competition did not disappoint as fans were in for a treat as there was tight competition between the bodybuilders. Hadi Choopan, Derek Lunsford, Chris Bumstead, Chinedu Obiekea, Hunter Labrada, Mamdoih Elssbiay, Brandon Curry, Samson Dauda and Michal Krizanek.
The winner would receive a whopping $400,000, followed by $150,000 for the second runner-up and $100,000 for the third runner-up. The fourth and fifth-placed bodybuilders would get $40,000 and $35,000 respectively. The Champions of Excellence competition was completed by November 3, and the Strength Unleashed competition was completed by November 4.
Mr. Olympia winners 2023
Like the previous installment of the competition, it was a tight matchup between Choopan and Lunsford, who were 1st and 2nd in 2022, respectively. However, this time, they exchanged places, with Lunsford winning $400,000 prize money. Dauda, who was 6th in 2022, is the 2nd runner-up.
Brandon Curry, fourth in 2022, retained his position in 2023. Curry won in 2019 and the first runner-up in 2020 and 2021. Andrew Jacked improved to 5th position, an improvement from his 8th place finish in 2022. This is only his second appearance for Mr. Olympia.
Lunsford, with the victory, is now the only bodybuilder with titles in both Mr. Olympia and 212 Olympia, which he won in 2019. With the second-place finish, Choopan has been in the top 4 of the championship for the fifth consecutive time. Choopan had two 3rd place finishes in 2019 and 2021 and a 4th place finish in 2020.
Mr. Olympia: Champions of Excellence winners 2023
The Champions of Excellence included six events where the winner would get $50,000. First and Second runner-up would be compensated by $20,000 and $12,000. The fourth and fifth-placed athletes would take home $7000 and $6000 respectively.
Andrea Shaw won Ms. Olympia 2023 with Angela Yeo and Alcione Barreto as first and second runner-up. Sherry Priami and Natalia Kovaleva took the 4th and 5th prizes. Keone Pearson won 212 Olympia 2023 with Shaun Clarida and Angel Calderon Frias as first and second runner-up. Kerrith Bajjo and Ahmad Ashkanani took the 4th and 5th prizes.
Oksana Grishina won Fitness Olympia 2023 with Taylor Learmont and Jaclyn Baker as first and second runner-up. Ariel Khadr and Whitney Jones took the 4th and 5th prizes. Cydney Gillon won Figure Olympia 2023 with Jessica Reyes Padilla and Lola Montez as first and second runner-up. Cherish Richardson and Natalia Soltero took the 4th and 5th prizes.
Sarah Villegas won Women’s Physique Olympia 2023 with Natalia Abraham Coelho and Zama Benta as first and second runner-up. Brooke Walker and Anne-Lorraine Mohn took the 4th and 5th prizes. Francielle Mattos won Figure Olympia 2023 with Isabelle Nunes and Elisa Alcantara as first and second runner-up. Rayane Fogal and Gisele Machado took the 4th and 5th prizes.
Winners of Strength Unleashed 2023
The Strength Unleashed included five events where, excluding the Mr. Olympia competition, the winner would get $50,000. First and Second runner-up would be compensated by $20,000 and $12,000. The fourth and fifth-placed athletes would take home $7000 and $6000 respectively.
Chris Bumstead won Classic Physique Olympia 2023 with Ramon Rocha Querioz and Urs Kalecinski as first and second runner-ups. Breon Ansley and Terrence Ruffin took the 4th and 5th prizes. Ryan Terry won Men’s Physique Olympia 2023 with Brandon Hendrickson and Erin Banks as first and second runner-up. Emanuel Hunter and Diogo Montenegro took the 4th and 5th prizes.
Jennifer Dorie won Bikini Olympia 2023 with Maureen Blanquisco and Ashley Kaltwasser as first and second runner-up. Lauralie Chapados and Elisa Pecini took the 4th and 5th prizes. Karol Milewski won Wheelchair Olympia 2023 with Harold Kelley and Josue Fabiano Barreto Monteiro as first and second runner-up. Mohammadreza Tabrizi Nouri and Gabrielle Andriuli took the 4th and 5th prizes.
