Tyron Woodley and Jake Paul

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley was just made official. The fight will mark the boxing debut of Tyron Woodley, while it would be Paul’s 4th professional boxing fight. The fight will be at 190lbs with 10 ounce gloves in a 20×20 boxing ring. The location, date and venue of the fight are yet to be announced.

Already Paul and Woodley have brought in a ton of bad blood into the fight. It all started when Woodley was disrespected by Paul and his trainer J’Leon Love backstage, after the fight against Ben Askren.

Woodley was quoted as saying, “Easiest fight of my career and biggest purse of my career all in one night. Basically, they brought me in to take out the trash. I can’t wait to shut this bitch up. This is getting done for the culture, the whole MMA community and boxing community, to rid this guy of combat sports.”

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley: The drama continues on Twitter

The Twitter war had already begun as soon as the fight announcement came out. Woodley took shots at Paul tweeting, “Dear @jakepaul keep the hat. I’m taking your head clean off your neck! #GotchaSoul.”.

Paul then chimed in posting a picture of Woodley and Ben Askren calling them dumb and dumber. He captioned the post, “bff’s!”

It seems like there will be a lot to look forward to in this fight. With plenty of bad blood, no one knows how intense things would get as the fight date approaches. However, Paul is still the slight favourite going into the fight, while Woodley comes in as the slight underdog.
