John Fury Comments On Who Tyson Fury Should Fight Next

Tyson Fury’s father, John Fury has finally commented his thoughts on who Tyson should face up next. The Briton put out a fantastic performance against Deontay Wilder as he won the much-awaited trilogy fight in outstanding fashion. Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder have had a long history which takes us back to 2017 when Fury publicly called out Wilder.
The unbeaten heavyweight boxer, Tyson Fury currently has two belts under his weight, the WBC heavyweight title, and The Ring Heavyweight title. Previously, he has held the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight titles but had to relinquish his belts as he took a hiatus.
What did John Fury say about Tyson Fury’s next opponent?
In a recent conversation, John Fury commented that the next opponent for his son should only be Oleksandr Usyk. He further added that none of the other boxers are in Tyson Fury‘s class and that The Gypsy King wouldn’t bother with them.
“In my idea, it’s Oleksandr Usyk next or nothing. I wouldn’t bother with the rest of them, they’re not in Tyson’s class. Would Dillian Whyte deal with Deontay Wilder? No. So why put him in with my son and get him knocked out?” He told talkSPORT.
Usyk is coming off a massive win against Anthony Joshua and is now the new WBA, WBO, and IBF champion. The very reason why Tyson Fury wants his son to go up against Usyk is so that Fury can outbox him and claim those titles as well. Another candidate which has recently come into the light is Dillian Whyte.
Dillian Whyte recently talked about how WBC must ‘force his position’ and give Tyson Fury no other choice but to fight him. Will The Gypsy King take Whyte up next or will he go up against Oleksandr Usyk?
