Mike Tyson responds to the news of him fighting Jake Paul! The former Youtuber turned professional boxer, Jake Paul became a household name and one of the biggest draws in modern-day boxing by producing some of the biggest pay-per-view in the year 2021.
Paul secured three wins the past year. The first one again is the former Bellator Welterweight champion, Ben Askren. Following that he secured two wins against the former UFC Welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley. Jake knocked out Woodley in their second fight and he is already looking for an even bigger name for his next fight. It was rumored that Jake might get a fight against the legend, Mike Tyson.
Earlier, the news was out that Tyson might end up facing the elder Paul brother, but the narrative quickly changed, and Jake’s name was thrown in the mix. A spokesperson said, “Mike and Jake are on board for an exhibition bout in Las Vegas. A verbal deal has been struck to get it on, but like all forms of sports business, now it’s all about the contracts and money split.”
“Mike is looking for a certain figure to get into the ring with a profit share guarantee. Jake obviously has that on his mind but is keen to show the world that stepping into the ring with a man once called the worst man on the planet, takes his boxing career to the next level.”

Just like all the other people, Tyson was also surprised by this news. Tyson revealed that he never agreed to fight against Jake.
In one of his latest tweets, ‘Iron Mike’ says, “This is new to me. I saw Jake in St. Barths and he never mentioned it.” Tyson was rumored to make a comeback inside the boxing ring this year but it seems like this one isn’t certainly happening against ‘The Problem Child’. Jake is currently taking some time away from boxing and social media, but it would be interesting to see how gets to be his next opponent.
