The fight between Usyk and Fury was postponed to May 18 after Fury sustained a cut above his eye during a sparring session. It was also announced that a rematch clause had been added to the contract. Hence, this means that Fury and Usyk will face each other twice irrespective of the result of the first fight. Subsequently, after AJ’s fight, Fury made several dismissive comments about both fighters. This prompted Joshua to say:

F**k Tyson Fury. I don’t like trash talking, people, but I heard him say something like, ‘Oh, I’m here to do commentary about these two sausages.

Joshua fired back at Fury and demanded that Ngannou be given respect and believed that he defeated Fury. Furthermore, during the interview with IFLTV, Joshua mentioned that he intends to stay active and fight again around June or July.

Joshua intends to fight the next undisputed heavyweight champion, but he will have to wait for the two fights between Fury and Usyk. Subsequently, Joshua might next fight Filip Hrgovic for the vacant IBF heavyweight title.
