Terence Crawford is known for being the current number-one pound-for-pound fighter, especially after his victory over Errol Spence Jr. However, Crawford’s admirable skills and athleticism have been witnessed in several other sports. Furthermore, Crawford is often seen indulging in sports like wrestling, basketball, and even football. Hence, his athleticism and intense love for various sports are quite well known. As such, Crawford has been closely following the Super Bowl games.

The Super Bowl was between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. The event was massive, and it was the first Super Bowl in Las Vegas. Furthermore, it was attended by the likes of Floyd Mayweather and Taylor Swift. However, Crawford seems to have followed the game from the comfort of his home with his friends and family. Crawford kept tweeting about the game and who he was supporting. In addition, Crawford reacted by stating:

Glad, I’m not a betting man because I was 0-5 in the playoffs. Maybe I was the bad luck.

Furthermore, since Crawford has a reputation for never losing, he hilariously switched sides at the end.

Terence Crawford reacts to Teofimo Lopez’s challenge

Crawford didn’t hold back a smile as he took a shot at WBO super-lightweight champion, Teofimo Lopez. Subsequently, this was after Lopez’s disappointing performance in his 12-round bout with Jamaine Ortiz. This fight was reminiscent of Lopez’s close call against Sandor Martin in December 2022, when Martin’s unorthodox southpaw style posed problems for Lopez.

Hence, a moment of self-doubt was captured on a viral hot mic. In this fight, Lopez kept his eyes on the prize, but the match turned out disappointing. Across the fight, Ortiz kept outboxing and continued to maneuver across the ring. Subsequently, Lopez won the fight controversially via a unanimous decision, and Crawford reacted to this by stating, “You talked all that sh*t about me and lost.”

Crawford addressed Lopez’s callout to fight him and stated that he should instead focus on his opponents. In addition, Crawford suggested that Lopez is a ‘chump’ who needs to return to the drawing board instead of challenging him.
