Yeah, it always happens—Erislandy Lara, Austin Trout, Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto, Gennady Golovkin, Daniel Jacobs, Callum Smith, and Billy Joe Saunders. At the end of the day, I beat practically all of them.

Jim Lampley speaks about Canelo Alvarez’s choices

Boxing fans and experts have expressed their frustration since Alvarez is not fighting Benavidez. Subsequently, while the fans wish to witness the fight, the former believes he does not need to prove himself. This might be why their fight has not happened, even though Benavidez is the mandatory challenger to Alvarez’s super-middle titles.

However, while Alvarez believes that he can decide who he fights, sports commentator Jim Lampley shared his opinion on the matter. The veteran combat sports fan questioned whether or not Alvarez should be able to choose his opponents. Furthermore, according to Lampley, Alvarez has already achieved greatness through his career in boxing.

In addition, Lampley stated that fans will continue to demand the biggest fights from Alvarez.
