Former UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg has only once in the UFC. The only loss was to Amanda Nunes. Cyborg is one of the pioneers of women’s MMA and has won titles and defended it in every promotion she fought. She reigned as the women’s featherweight champion in Strikeforce, Invicta, UFC, and Bellator. With the Bellator-PFL merger, Cyborg has the opportunity to a title in a fifth organization.
Cyborg has an undefeated professional boxing record. She recently defeated Kelsey Wickstrum with a first-round finish. Cyborg knocked Wickstrum out with an overhand right, leading to many speculations from fight fans. The Brazilian did not even land flush, but her opponent fell flat and could not get her witts around it. Cyborg, known for her brute power, showcased it again with the mindboggling knockout victory.

The fight was Cyborg’s third bout inside the ring. She made her debut in 2022, which she won by a unanimous decision. Her second bout was in the co-main event of Terence Crawford vs. David Avanesyan in Nebraska. In addition to boxing and MMA, Cyborg has also competed in BJJ and Muay Thai tournaments.
With the PFL-Bellator merger, fans expected a super fight between Kayla Harrison and Cris Cyborg. However, Cyborg recently revealed that Harrison declined the fight. Nonetheless, fans expect that PFL will make the fight as they aim to topple the UFC as the premier MMA promotion in the world.
