Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury will compete in a boxing match against each other on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the event will be Ngannou’s professional boxing debut after joining the PFL. However, Fury’s WBC belt will not be at stake for this event since Ngannou was not an orthodox boxing contender.
Subsequently, Fury takes this fight very seriously because he has more to lose than Ngannou. Ahead of the bout, both fighters have remained respectful, even during their trash talk. However, in a JRE podcast recently, Ngannou seriously accused Fury of cheating in his boxing matches. Furthermore, during the podcast, Ngannou stated, “He’s very tricky with his glove. I think he’s cheating. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about his gloves, that his gloves have no protection.”
Subsequently, Ngannou’s accusations were not new, as Deontay Wilder made similar claims after facing Fury. Wilder and Fury’s first fight ended with a split decision draw between the two, but Wilder suspected that Fury had used unfair means. In addition, after their second bout, Wilder lost the fight via a 7th-round TKO. After the fight, Wilder was more convinced that Fury was cheating inside the ring with his gloves.
Furthermore, Wilder continued accusing Fury of cheating with his gloves before his trilogy match. Wilder said they needed to investigate the padding inside Fury’s glove because it contained components like horsehair, and the gloves were bending and folding during the fight. However, the Nevada State Athletic Commission responded to Wilder’s claims by assuring him that the gloves wouldn’t jeopardize the fight.

Tyson Fury will face Francis Ngannou in his next bout. The bout will not have the WBC belt on the line for Francis Ngannou to grab. The future of Tyson Fury remains ambiguous at the moment. Who will he face after Ngannou?
