Logan Paul and Dillon Danis will fight each other in a cross-over boxing exhibition fight on October 14. Their fight will be the co-main event at the KSI vs. Tommy Fury fight card at AO Arena in Manchester. Furthermore, fans have been lambasting Dillon Danis for dragging his opponent’s partner into this. However, MMA legend Demetrious Johnson came in support of Danis.
The MMA fighter has been targeting Paul’s fiancé, Nina Agdal on social media. Dillon Danis uploaded several pictures of Agdal’s ex-partners to roast Logan Paul. These trolls went viral and Danis generated 2 billion views on his X page in just 28 days. Furthermore, Nina Agdal sued the 30-year-old and issued a restraining order against him.
However, the ongoing animosity made people more interested in this fight. Moreover, Dillon Danis earned about $32,000 from the online trolls. Demetrious Johnson picked his side in ongoing battle. He said, “I always want to see the MMA guys succeed and making a lot of money and I can’t wait. I just hope the fight happens like I’m f*cking invested”.
Johnson stated that he is rooting for Dillon Danis regardless of his image after the controversial online trolling. Furthermore, the MMA legend stated that he is supporting the 30-year-old because he is an MMA artist and has the same lineage as himself.
In addition, Demetrious Johnson mentioned how the Paul brothers came into fame by winning against MMA artists like Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren. Hence, Johnson would like to see an MMA artist win against them to even the score.
