Deontay Wilder doubles down on 2-fight crossover offer for Francis Ngannou after multiple-million dollar PFL deal
The boxer is not just interested in one bout, but also in the rumored two-fighting matches against the ex-UFC fighter.

Deontay Wilder and Francis Ngannou are already making statements about their potential bouts. Earlier, Ngannou released a video in which he confirmed he was in talks to fight Wilder in the boxing ring. On the other side, Deontay never disagreed with testing ‘The Predator’s” boxing skills in the ring. After getting the PFL contract, former UFC champions also got the ticket to compete freely in the boxing ring.
Recently, Deontay Wilder was present at one of the PFL events, where he confirmed something extra. The fight fans are expecting at least one-time for Ngannou to compete in the last 2 years. Wilder made confirmation of their millions-worth fight after the PFL deal with Francis. The boxer is not just interested in one bout, but also in the rumored two-fighting matches against the ex-UFC fighter.
Deontay confirmed that he and his team are working on their boxing ring match-up. Wilder said, “All things and anything are possible. Me and Francis have had discussions, we had meetings with both parties, as far as the team is concerned.” Boxer explained,“So this is a real conversation that has been taking place, not only just amongst the combat family, but amongst the teams as well, getting on the phone, everybody talking.”
Wilder also revealed how they are working on two matches, one in the boxing ring and one in the MMA cage against Francis Ngannou. “I wanted to make it more interesting for the fans and just the whole combat family as a whole, you know?” Then Wilder said, “I said, ‘How about you come to my backyard [boxing] and after we handle business, I can come to yours and cross over.”

But Eddie Hearn confirms the next opponent for Deontay Wilder will be Anthony Joshua or not

There were rumors around that Deontay would be competing against former WBC champion Anthony Joshua. But in the latest talk, Eddie Hearn confirms that Wilder may have to wait longer.
Eddie Hearn told Boxing Scene they were discussing Wilder’s new fight and that they may receive the call sooner. So for Wilder, there will be no Anthony Joshua. But Eddie also confirmed that they did get the offer to make the long-awaited bout in Saudi Arabia. Hearn said, “We have an offer without a contract. So we need to wait on that contract.”
Wilder hasn’t competed since October 2022 when he defeated Robert Helenius. The next opponent for Deontay Wilder will be Anthony Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk, or Francis Ngannou; time will tell. Deontay is under training for the comeback fight which maybe any time sooner.
