Floyd Mayweather is no stranger to rocking up to NBA games courtside and receiving special attention from the superstars. However, recently, the legendary boxer was seen supporting basketball star Kyrie Irving on his debut with the Dallas Mavericks.
The former Brooklyn Nets star, Kyrie Irving broke the internet after his move to Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks. Looks like even Floyd was excited to watch Irving ball out in Dallas. In the recent game against Los Angeles Clippers, Mayweather made his presence known with his courtside tickets.
Kyrie Irving, after dropping 24 points on his debut with the new team decided to give the boxer a hug and exchange a few words. The fighter went home with the star’s debut jersey. A lot of reactions have poured in on social media after this interaction was footage.

Floyd Mayweather raised his voice defending Kyrie Irving in recent controversy
Kyrie Irving not long ago got into trouble for his antisemitic statements. The basketball player was put on blast by several media outlets for his questionable tweet. The basketball player was temporarily banned from playing for the Brooklyn Nets and in the NBA.
During this time, Floyd Mayweather raised his voice and defended the former Brooklyn Nets star. Mayweather went on a long speech giving words of courage to Irving during the time of backlash. “It’s crazy how people hate you for being a leader. I hope your actions encourage many others to stand up and say, ‘Enough is enough.’ Respect to you Kyrie,” said Mayweather.

Mayweather also said, “A slave mind follows the crowd. Stand for something or fall for anything. One man can lead a revolution to stand up and fight for what’s right.” It wasn’t a surprise to see Irving embracing the boxer after his debut for the Dallas Mavericks.
