Following ‘Two Tanks’ insensitive comments toward Tommy Coyle and the news publication ‘The Sun,’ Hearn decided to cancel his fight. In an interview with the YouTube channel ‘Boxing Social,’ Eddie Hearn and Ohara Davies had an honest conversation about the past. “You did a lot of things that you never really owned up to,” said the promoter of Anthony Joshua. He further revealed, “Back then, you were a kid, you were silly. You were trying to do things to get attention. I believe you said something that was disrespectful,” said Hearn, referencing the impolite comments against Tommy Coyle.
“I’ll be honest with you. And, I don’t mind saying it to your face. You became a little bit of an as***** in my opinion,” said Eddie Hearn. Upon witnessing the clip, fans took to Twitter to praise Hearn’s brave confrontational behavior toward Ohara Davies for his controversial opinions.
