The former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, doesn’t seem ready to fight Tyson Fury according to the footage from the latest technical sparring session.

Francis Ngannou will debut professionally in boxing against WBC undefeated heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. The former UFC heavyweight champion left the UFC because he wanted to pursue boxing and needed a much more lucrative contract.

Ngannou joined the PFL to pursue better things and is now set to fight one of the greatest heavyweights in boxing. Subsequently, Ngannou revealed that the amount he would receive in his boxing debut would exceed his UFC career’s total income. In addition, this reflected how the UFC did not pay its champions and contenders enough. Furthermore, Ngannou’s “technical sparring” video went viral ahead of his fight against Tyson Fury. This fight is a dream come true for Ngannou, but many boxing fans are unhappy with this matchup.

Furthermore, fans felt Fury’s boxing skills and IQ would completely overwhelm Ngannou during their fight. In addition, Fury has fought 33 heavyweight bouts and never lost a single one, reflecting his skills. Many MMA and UFC fans have defended Ngannou as a fighter and felt he could hold his own. Subsequently, Ngannou is known as the hardest puncher in the UFC heavyweight division, which several fighters have testified to.

However, boxing fans don’t feel that Ngannou’s power will be a problem since Fury has twice defeated the hardest-punching heavyweight, Deontay Wilder. Hence, fans felt that even if Ngannou had a devastating Ko punch, Fury should be able to deal with it easily. Furthermore, after fighting Wilder, Fury proved he could take a punch in the face and still get up.

Mike Tyson, the legendary former heavyweight champion, trains Ngannou as he transitions from MMA to boxing. The pair are a good match since Tyson can polish and refine Ngannou’s devastating power to suit a boxing ring better. However, many fans and experts feel this won’t be enough to secure a victory against Fury. Furthermore, Ngannou has no prior experience in the boxing ring, but Fury has been boxing all his life. Fans felt that Francis Ngannou lacked mobility, techniques, head movement, and several other aspects necessary for boxing. Furthermore, people feel that Ngannou cannot win a fight against an ordinary boxer, but the WBC champion is at another level. However, some fans felt Ngannou would have to charge forward and try to KO Fury if he wanted to win.
