Ngannou responded to this in an interview with iFL TV by stating:
I don’t know. I think he came around thinking that he would have been an easy fight, an easy money grab and go, and then he was surprised, and now he’s trying to make himself a little bit of an excuse.Francis Ngannou said
While Fury took credit for putting Ngannou on the map after their fight, Ngannou dismissed this notion. Furthermore, Fury claimed that he made Ngannou a multimillionaire and allowed him to secure bigger fights.

Francis Ngannou’s coach talks about Anthony Joshua
Joshua and Ngannou are set to clash at the main event of the ‘Knockout Chaos’ fight card on March 8. As such, Ngannou’s coach, Dewey Cooper, spoke about the upcoming fight during an interview at The MMA Hour. Furthermore, Cooper stated that Joshua is a more dangerous opponent to Fury because of his power.

However, Cooper asserted that Fury is a tricky opponent because of his fighting style and boxing IQ. Subsequently, Cooper mentioned that Fury makes his opponent tired and slowly dismantles him. Hence, Cooper believes that Joshua is a more dangerous opponent because of his one-punch knockout power.

Keeping this in mind, Cooper revealed how Ngannou has preached differently for both fights. In addition, Cooper stated that Ngannou will be sharp and prepared for Joshua and will be vigilant about his power.
