Mike Tyson is one of the most well-known heavyweight boxers and a prominent cultural icon to this day. Tyson was the youngest person to become the heavyweight champion at the age of 20 in 1986. Furthermore, he was notoriously known as the “Baddest Man Alive” on the planet because of his controversial life. Tyson earned the nickname ‘Kid Dynamite’ for his fighting style and devastating knockout victories.

As his career progressed, Tyson earned the nickname ‘Iron Mike’ because of his durability and attacking capabilities inside the ring. Currently, Tyson is retired and occupies himself with his several business ventures, which include a weed farm in California. Furthermore, Tyson appeared in a JRE podcast where he discussed his experiences and thoughts about weed with Joe Rogan. Subsequently, Rogan asked Tyson when he started smoking weed regularly, and Tyson revealed he started at the age of 10. Rogan responded by stating, “The whole time you were fighting, you were regularly smoking weed?”

Tyson revealed he used to get liquor and marijuana from his alcoholic mother, who would think it would make him sleep. However, her misguided approach never really worked, and she exposed Tyson to drug usage from an early age. Furthermore, Rogan asked what benefits Tyson finds from using weed, and Tyson stated that it calms him down.

Subsequently, Tyson stated that he likes himself more when he is high because he becomes a better person. Tyson revealed that he is very happy with his experiences with weed, and it helps him not be uncomfortable with himself.

Mike Tyson urges NBA players to smoke weed

Tyson the former heavyweight champion of the world, has made numerous public statements regarding the use of cannabis over the years. As an avid cannabis user, “Iron Mike” has stated that cannabis use has had a positive impact on his life. Furthermore, Tyson also set up a cannabis company in 2016 and has a weed farm in California.

Recently, the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced a modification to its drug testing policy. Subsequently, the league will allow players to consume marijuana and marijuana-derived products without incurring any disciplinary repercussions. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Tyson urged the NBA players to start smoking weed, especially his product.

In addition, Tyson endorsed his cannabis products and stated that they were the best on the market. Tyson also gave some in-depth expertise on which marijuana strains to smoke for different desired trips for NBA athletes.
