In the world of boxing, Mike Tyson is a name that commands respect and awe. Known for his raw power and ferocious punches, Tyson was a force to be reckoned with inside the ring. However, another aspect of Tyson’s life that often went unnoticed for the most part. It was his fear of his wife. Tyson felt the same fear that his opponents felt while fighting him inside the ring.
In an episode of the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, Iron Mike invited the legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk. During the interview, ‘Tyson’ got on his skateboard and tried to balance it but fell backward. Even though Mike Tyson completely lost balance, he was fortunate because a chair on the set saved him. Since the chair caught Tyson before he fell, he was not hurt, and Tyson told his wife:

Hilariously, after Tyson lost his balance and landed on the chair, we first saw fear on his face. This rare sight was caused by Tyson’s wife being on set, and Tyson was hilariously scared of her. In the past, Tyson’s wife has also been the only person who can disrespect him or talk to him in a certain manner.
Furthermore, this wasn’t the only time that Tyson fell from a skateboard, as he once tried to balance on his daughter’s hoverboard. Subsequently, Tyson briefly balanced on it before completely falling on the hard wooden floor of his house.

Tyson will go down in history as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers to live and the baddest man on the planet. However, even such a man seems to fear his wife, ironically, as seen in the above clip. Tyson has had a very tumultuous and eventful life and has always found pace and solace with his wife. Hence, Tyson respects his wife immensely and is even afraid of her to a certain extent.
Tyson’s first concern was his wife finding out he almost fell, even when several other people surrounded Tyson. Hence, the fact that Tyson was more concerned about his wife finding out than him getting hurt reflects how much he fears her.
