Tyson was scheduled to fight Bruce Seldon at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and Tupac was in attendance. After Tyson won the fight, Tupac was shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting that took place on the night of September 7, 1996. Subsequently, Tyson revealed that he had made plans to meet Shakur after the fight but had to cancel.
However, Shakur continued with their plan even though Tyson canceled, and he was shot on his way there. The circumstances surrounding Tupac’s murder remain a subject of speculation and investigation.
