Former UFC fighter and MMA legend Nate Diaz wants to change the venue for his bout against Jake Paul. Diaz who is supposed to make his boxing debut on the of August in Dallas, Texas wants to move states before he gets into the ring with Jake. The sudden announcement from Nate Diaz with only two months left for his fight has his fans panicked.
After ending his contract with UFC, Nate Diaz Chose free agency to become the most sorted-after free agent in the combat sports world. With the Stockton legend wanting to pursue boxing, he received various offers from various parties including both the Paul brothers. Finally, he chose Jake Paul by snubbing Logan Paul at the last minute. The bout between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz was supposed to take place on the 5th of August at the American, Airlines Centre in Dallas, Texas.
However, with only two months left to the fight, Nate Diaz is calling for a venue change, because of a conflict of interest with the Texan law. According to the law, consumption of Marijuana and Cannabis for recreational purposes is a punishable offence in Texas. Given Nate’s tenacity to smoke copious amounts of w**d, he wanted to change the venue. Diaz took to Twitter and posted a gif of Homer Simpsons vanishing into a cloud of smoke with the quote ” We gonna have to move states”.
With fans highly anticipating Diaz’s boxing debut, his sudden announcement has put the fans in a state of panic. Fans posted their reactions to the Stockton legend’s latest announcement on Twitter.

According to the law, the use of Marijuana or Cannabis for recreational purposes is illegal in Texas. Given Diaz’s propensity for copious consumption of Marijuana, the former UFC fighter made an announcement on Twitter. He posted a GIF of Homer Simpson from ‘ The Simpsons‘ vanishing into the smoke, quoted, “We gonna have to move states.” Nate’s announcement, this close before the fight has caused panic among his fans who are worried about his fight. Fans take to Twitter to post their reactions to Nate’s latest announcement.
Following the announcement many fans assumed Diaz was talking about shifting from his hometown of California. However, other fans corrected them and informed them that Diaz is actually talking about moving states for his fight given the marijuana laws in Texas. Meanwhile, the remaining fans seemed to already know this problem would arise and posted a GIF of Diaz’s famous ” I’m not surprised motherf***ers”. Nate’s announcement this close to the fight might result in a change of venue with the probability of the fight getting pushed forward .
