The lightweight super fight between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia will finally take place this month inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The hype around the fight is massive, and given the animosity of the fight, fans are eagerly waiting for both young fighters to get inside the ring. Garcia has been looking for this fight for a long time and will finally get his chance to prove his doubters wrong against a tough challenge. 

Nevertheless, Garcia is quite confident ahead of the fight and has even mentioned fighting lightweight champion Devin Haney after defeating Davis. Garcia explained that it’s a fight between two fighters in their prime, and fans would love to see that action.

He said: “Right after this, we’re calling out Devin Haney. Bring on Davin, now that’s another prime on prime fight. I fought him six times in the amateurs. Now we need to have the seventh one, life is good bro.”  According to Garcia, Haney and he has equal records against each other in amateur boxing and this next fight will be a tiebreaker.

Gervonta Davis accuses Ryan Garcia of putting on an ‘act’ ahead of their upcoming fight

The rivalry between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis has been around for the last two years and both fighters have gone online to mick each other multiple times. After years of anticipation, both fighters will finally get the opportunity to fight each other inside the ring. 

Ahead of the fight during the first press conference, Davis revealed that Garcia is just putting on a fake show in front of the fans and Davis plans to end it inside the ring.

He said: “I’ve put a lot of guys to sleep and Ryan is next … Didn’t Ryan get caught [and knocked down] by Luke Campbell? Do I hit way harder than Luke Campbell? Yes or no? … He’s putting on a front for the people. That’s what I see. I see a guy who’s an act. That’s what it is.”

Davis is well known for his power and has won 26 of his 28 fights via knockout. On the other hand, Garcia’s left hook is lethal too. Fans are assuming this fight will end soon and the winner will get a KO finish.
