Terence Crawford is an undefeated Welterweight Champion. His trainer, Brian McIntyre, was arrested in Manchester in the month of September. It happened last month after he coached Chris Eubank Jr. to a victory over Liam Smith in their rematch. The authorities apprehended McIntyre after they found a firearm in his luggage during his departure from Manchester, England.

At Manchester Airport, Brian McIntyre was checking in and waiting in the departure lounge at Terminal 2. Security officials arrested him after a security scan revealed a loaded pistol and ammunition inside his luggage. After a court hearing in Stockport, the authorities arrested ‘BoMac’ and charged him with possessing a licensed gun with ammunition.

However, the famous boxing coach has been finally released from prison, according to several reports. Ollie McManus, a British court reporter, revealed on X, “Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre is a FREE MAN having been given a 20-month SUSPENDED prison sentence.”

‘BoMac’ initiated the legal proceedings after acknowledging his culpability for the possession of a loaded firearm. Hence, McIntyre has been in prison for a month, waiting for his verdict after pleading guilty to two firearm charges. Subsequently, the Manchester Crown Court gave its verdict of a 20-month suspended prison sentence.

According to McManus’s report, Terence Crawford also played a part in his trainer’s release by giving in-person evidence at the hearing. Furthermore, if McIntyre possesses a firearm in the UK within the next two years, the court will sentence him to prison time. Brian McIntyre and Terence Crawford’s relationship

Crawford has a relationship with Brian McIntyre that goes beyond simply being a trainer and a boxer. They share a connection that started on the same street, ten houses apart, in an impoverished area of Omaha, Nebraska. Hence, Crawford and BoMac have known each other for several years now and are very close.

Despite the tough times they’ve faced, they’ve still managed to reach the pinnacle of boxing. Crawford recently achieved a decisive ninth-round knockout victory over the previously undefeated Errol Spence Jr. in the three-division championship. McIntyre’s guidance directly linked Crawford’s incredible rise to becoming one of the top boxers in recent years.

Terence Crawford acquainted himself with McIntyre at the age of seven and met him at the C.W. Boxing Club in their neighborhood. Subsequently, BoMac became a very close friend of Crawford and went on to become his most valuable mentor.
