WATCH: Terence Crawford is left in splits as friend passed out on terrifying theme park ride

Welterweight champion Terence Crawford will fight in one of the biggest bouts this year against Errol Spence Jr. Bud is highly respected for his talent in the sport of boxing and remains on top of the pound-for-pound fighter for many. While Crawford is highly famous for his talents inside the ring, a couple of years ago, he went viral for a hilarious incident.

Terence Crawford supposedly went on a theme park ride called the slingshot ride along with his friend. The ride propels the riders in the air, causing them to feel weightlessness and rapid change in movements and directions. While Bud might be someone who enjoys theme park rides, his friend does not. Right after getting seated and well-protected, Crawford’s friend second-guessed his decision.

He repeatedly said he did not want to experience the ride. However, it was a bit too late. Both Terence Crawford and his friend were catapulted into the air, and his friend screamed and immediately passed out. His body went limp for a few seconds, and his head drooped forward as he was mid-air. He regained his consciousness while on the ride but passed out yet again.

Meanwhile, Crawford could not control himself and kept on laughing repeatedly. His friend even tried holding Crawford’s arm, but ‘Bud ‘ was too busy bursting into laughter. The ride eventually came to an end, but Terence continued with his hysterics while his friend was a bit embarrassed. “This n** went to sleep,” said Crawford as he shrieked with laughter. While Crawford might love going on theme park rides, his friend will have stayed away after the incident.

The duo had a fiery media day and would be facing each other in the ring this weekend.

With the high stakes around the fight, tensions are indeed very high between the teams of both fighters. With the heated press conference, things could have gone wrong at any moment. However, Crawford stepped in and urged both teams to calm down as things can turn deadly quickly. “Just like you talkin’, just like you doin’ all that talkin’ bro, it can turn deadly real quick on both sides. So why not support your fighter? You ain’t got nothin’ wrong with that. Support your fighter, y’all support y’all fighter, let’s come together and make this event a success,” urged Crawford.

Luckily no brawl broke out during the press event, and both fighters treated each other respectfully. The fight could determine the number one pound-for-pound fighter, and this weekend fans will know who will sit at the top.
