The weird mismatch between Floyd Mayweather and Deji Olatunji has fans reacting in the most absurd ways

Floyd Mayweather is in talks to fight YouTuber and KSI’s brother, Deji Olatunji. This is a sentence many in combat sports never thought they would have to write or read, but that is the world we live in. To put it in perspective, possibly the greatest boxer of our generation is about to fight a YouTuber about the same size as him and possibly earn more than most executives working around the year.

Deji was a part of the original YouTube Boxing event when he featured on the undercard of Logan Paul vs KSI’s first clash in Manchester, where he faced off Jake Paul. Paul would get a 5th-round TKO victory over Olatunji and later go on to pursue a full-time shift to boxing.

While Deji did not go down the same route as Paul he too did try his hand at boxing and featured in multiple exhibition fights against fellow internet personalities. He went against Vinnie Hacker and Alex Wassabi, both bouts that he lost. In fact, Deji only found his first victory in the boxing ring, earlier this year against Fouseytube.

While many agreed there was a significant improvement in his abilities, making a jump from fighting YouTubers to fighting an undefeated boxer is not the career move most would try to make. Regardless that’s what Deji is going for as he’s rumored to face Floyd Mayweather for his next exhibition bout in Dubai.

Though Mayweather is nearing 50, if rumors from his camp are to be believed he still trains as if he were a multi-divisional champion. The last time he faced a YouTuber was against a much larger Logan Paul and still managed to school him. It doesn’t need to be specified what he can do to an inexperienced boxer, his size.
