Tommy Fury is the younger brother of heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury and he still remains undefeated in his boxing career. He was supposed to fight Jake Paul in December of last year but dropped out due to injury. He is still on the lookout for an opponent for his next fight.

In an interview with BT Sports, he admitted that he wants to fight Jake Paul in August and claims he doesn’t even need to train for the YouTuber turned boxer. On getting asked about Jake Paul he replied, ” I am ready. I don’t need to train for him.” If this fight ever happens it is going to attract an awful lot of eyes to the bout. Jake last fought and won against Tyron Woodley whereas Tommy won against Anthony Taylor.

Gennady Golovkin is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world. He recently beat Ryoto Murata and reclaimed the middleweight championship of the world. Recently John Fury is famously known for being Tyson Fury’s dad recently claimed he sees similarities between his other son Tommy Fury’s and Golovkin’s fighting style.

This is a big claim made by John as Tommy has not faced a decent opponent inside the ring right now. Tommy Fury reacted by thanking his father for making that comparison with the boxing legend. Fans and critics would definitely not agree with the comparison made by the former boxer John Fury.

In a pre-fight press conference on getting asked about the comparisons, he said, “Thanks very much dad, appreciate it, thanks for the support, thank you. That literally just comes from what we’ve seen in the gym. I’ve been holding my own with some very good fighters in sparring.” Tommy Fury is set to fight Daniel Bocianski in the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte.
