Oleksandr Usyk (L) Tyson Fury (C) Anthony Joshua (R)
Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua 2 has more spice to the fight. Tyson Fury’s RING heavyweight title is now up for grabs. The winner of the rematch will also be given the RING title in addition to the other heavyweight titles at stake.
Tyson Fury called for retirement after his win against Dillan Whyte on 23rd April 2022. Fury also relinquished his RING title after his retirement. The fighter announced on social media that he will vacate the title. Fury also spoke to RING magazine and said, “The Ring Magazine championship has always been the holy grail of boxing.”
Now that Fury has vacated the title, Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk will fight for the RING title along with the WBA, IBF, and WBO world heavyweight belts. Joshua vs Usyk 2 takes place on August 20th live from Saudia Arabia. The first fight ended in a defeat for the UK boxer at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September of 2021. Usyk will be more than happy to claim another title in his revenge fight.
Is Tyson Fury coming out of retirement?

Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury
Tyson’s retirement against Dillian Whyte after wowing the entire Wembley Stadium last year was a bit odd for almost all boxing fans. Fury’s biggest bout at hand and possibly his career would be a potential matchup with AJ. Fury turning down that opportunity was very puzzling. However, it turns out that Fury is ready to come out of his short retirement.
Recently Fury has been in talks with the camp of Derek Chisora for a potential trilogy fight. The Gypsy King wants to make history by being the first heavyweight champion to fight two trilogies. Though Fury has his history wrong, the fighter believes a trilogy against Chisora is the right thing for him to do while Usyk and Joshua battle it out.
Many believed that Tyson’s next fight will be against the winner of AJ and Usyk. The boxing promoters would be hoping that Anthony wins so the world could witness one of the biggest bouts in the UK between Fury and AJ.
