Jake Paul and Tommy Fury got the opportunity to come face to face on Saturday in London. Both the fighters who are scheduled to fight in the future were at the Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde fight. Both Paul and Fury stepped inside the ring and got close to each other while the announcer tried to ask them questions.
As they got close, Paul and Fury started head-butting each other, and immediately it got physical. Both the fighters had to be separated by the security who were present inside the ring.
After they were separated and a safe distance was established between Paul and Fury, both of them got indulged in trash-talking. Paul called Fury an imposter and not fighting any tough opponents throughout his professional career. He then mentioned that the Love Island star doesn’t have a chin and he will get knocked out when they fight. Paul said: “He has no chin. It’s all a joke. I’m ending you February 26th. You’re gonna crack under pressure. You’re an imposter.”
Fury is currently an undefeated boxer with a professional record of 8-0 with 4 knockout wins. However, compared to Paul most of the fighters Fury has defeated are not known. But on the other hand, they were true professional boxers unlike in Paul’s case. Paul has defeated retired basketball and MMA fighters who in their primes were phenomenal.
Tommy Fury wants to expose Jake Paul and his boxing skills on February 26
During the face-off, Tommy Fury was furious and just wanted to get his hands on Jake Paul. Fury mocked Paul by saying he has fought way better fighters when he was younger.
Fury revealed his plans to stop Paul’s professional boxing career by devastatingly beating him in four weeks. “I was beating people better than you when I was 14 when you were messing about on the Disney channel. You are over in four weeks. So enjoy the last few weeks as a so-called boxer,” said Fury.
After that, the camera panned to the World heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury who was present inside the arena. Fury was smiling and having a great time spectating his brother and Paul trash-talking to each other. The fight is going to take place in Saudi Arabia on February 26 and the hype around it is real. It would be interesting to see how both fighters will indulge in a verbal altercation in the future.
