Fury fought former interim WBC heavyweight champion and fellow Brit in Dillian Whyte. The fight took place because the WBC wanted to unify the undisputed and the interim titles. What lays ahead of Fury’s future seems to be unexpected yet huge things.

Fury has expressed zero interest now in fighting Anthony Joshua, so in case Joshua wins against current IBO, IBF, WBO, WBA heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, there’s no idea where the fate of the heavyweight division will go.

In what can be for the UFC as absolute shocking, Ngannou was present in the Wembley stadium and after Fury’s post-fight victory speech, went on the ring to talk about the possibility of fighting Fury in future. Fury is now strongly considering retirement from fighting but is open to exhibition bouts like that with Ngannou, or even a stint back to WWE.
