Retired professional boxer Kell Brook has been making the headlines for the wrong reasons. A clip of the former welterweight champion has gone viral on the internet which has raised many eyebrows.
In the footage, Brook is seen snorting a white powder from a coffee table using a roll-up. After snorting the powder he even looked hyped up prompting many to believe he had been consuming cocaine. The video was probably a home party that the British boxer organized in his Sheffield house while his whole family was away from home. “He had a bit of a gathering at his house where people were drinking spirits and smoking,” one of his guests has even revealed to the Sun.
However, his manager Terry Thompson has cleared away all the rumors and said that his client was not intaking any illegal substance. He said, “This is a thing that has sort of got out of hand. They were at his house, they were having a laugh. They were joking about things”.
Kell Brook hung his boots last year after his fight against long-time rival Amir Khan. The Special K competed in over 43 matches accumulating a winning record of 40 matches. However, in recent weeks he has teased a potential return to face the likes of Liam Smith or Chris Eubank jr.
When Amir Khan accused Kell Brook of doing drugs

Amir khan and Kell Brook have been in one of the most hostile boxing rivalries in the last decade. The two retired boxers were often seen throwing shots at each other in public.
Back in 2012, the two were speculated to meet inside the squared ring but Amir khan refused to fight Kell Brook accusing the former of abusing cocaine. He wrote on Twitter, “I’ve heard things about Kell Brook so I wouldn’t want to fight him.. He’s been seen taking cocaine and stabbed in a club, drunk and arrested numerous times. Boxing is a professional sport for those who have discipline and respect”. He further claimed that Kill Brook was not a big enough star to face him.
However, the fight between the two former welterweight champions did materialize in 2022. When the two meet at AO Arena, Manchester. In the last chapter of their respective boxing careers, Special K did manage to get the better of Khan after winning the bout courtesy of a sixth-round knockout.
