“I present more threats to Jake”- Tyron Woodley believes the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight didn’t make sense

Tyron Woodley vs Jake Paul

With Tommy Fury pulling out of the Jake Paul fight due to a bacterial chest infection and a broken rib, Tyron Woodley stepped up on short notice to take the Brit’s place. He demanded a rematch since he lost to ‘The Problem Child’ back in August and said that he had a feeling his services would be required.

“I told my coach and I flew him out to St Louis and said let’s start training man, let’s get prepared. I don’t feel like this fight’s going to happen. Something in my spirit tells me that this fight will not happen,” said Woodley on Submission Radio.

In an interview with TMZ Sports Woodley says that “Nobody wants to see no f***ing Tommy Fury fight, come on now. Now his brother is lit. But he can’t ride the coattails of Tyson.” He went on to say that Tommy would make a name for himself but at the moment he wouldn’t present the same threat and pressure as Tyson.

The rematch between ‘The Problem Child’ and ‘The Chosen One’ has officially been announced for Dec 18th in Tampa, Florida at the Amalie Arena. Fans are ready to see if Paul can take the win against former UFC fighter Woodley again and if he does, it proves that the hype train is real.

Tyron looks ready to take the fight to Jake Paul and he’s in the mindset of proving that he is the better fighter. Woodley has even created a clause in the contract stating that if he wins, a trilogy match will be set up. “Of course, I’m down for a trilogy. Yes, it is a rematch clause in there,” Woodley told TMZ. “I’m going to put that on him. After I knock you out, Mr. Betting Man, are you going to run or are you going to try to fight somebody else or are you going to come and get this work again?”

Now that Tyron’s in, he says that he won’t leave things up to the judges. Will it end in another Jake Paul victory or will Woodley get to prove that he’s still got it, we shall find out on Dec 18th.
