Tyron Woodley(L), Jake Paul(R)
Tyron Woodley and Jake Paul recently faced off at their pre-fight press conference and ‘The Problem Child’ was up to his antics again appearing in a ski mask and a championship belt prop with the words ‘Most Valuable Boxer’ on it. Tyron on the other hand was beaming with confidence and said that this fight was destined to happen.
“No this ain’t light notice. This ain’t – this late notice to y’all, this late notice to them [fans], this is destiny to me I’ve already been ready so you’ll see Saturday. He gonna be the one huffing and puffing and running again”, said the former UFC welterweight champion.
Woodley even said that in the previous fight the ropes around the ring weren’t set and managed well with the middle and the bottom rope not being tightened enough as he said, “My coach grabbed the second and third rope, he said ‘These ropes are f***ing loose. Look at em’.
‘The Chosen One’ talked about the ritual he goes through when he enters the ring. “Every morning of the fight I go into the ring, and we go in there and we feel it. We want to feel the atmosphere and I imagine that place being packed and people cheering, people booing, people throwing tomatoes and lettuce at me. People grabbing my shoes, pushing me. I imagine the most chaotic thing.” Woodley went as far as to call it the biggest fight of the year saying, “We took over 2021”.
