“I promised my lovely wife Paris of 14 years that after the Wilder 3 fight, that would be it.I meant it, we had a war, it was a great trilogy and I meant that. But I got offered to fight at Wembley at home and I believe I owed it to the fans, every person in the United Kingdom to come here and fight at Wembley. Now that it’s all done, I think this is it, this might be the final curtain for the Gypsy King. What a way to go out, a big thank you to the United Kingdom!”

Now that Tyson Fury has decided that he no longer has any interest in fighting. Automatically after his retirement, the WBO World heavyweight title will be vacant for its new holder.

Regarding the situation,Fury was asked who should fight for the WBO title. While responding to the question, ‘The Gypsy King’ revealed that he would like to see his former opponent, Wilder, fight with someone else for the title. Fury explained that Wilder doesn’t get the respect he deserves in the boxing community. According to Fury, Wilder is still the second best heavyweight in the world after him and he will knockout everybody else.

I’d like to see Deontay Wilder fight whoever for it. He just doesn’t get the credit he deserves and I do believe he’s still the second-best in the world. I believe he knocks everybody else out.” said Fury.

It was an obvious choice by Fury, given the intensity of their rivalry in the past. After losing to Fury last October inside the T-Mobile Arena,Nevada the ‘The Bronze Bomber’ haven’t really participated in any talks regarding his comeback. But now that, Fury has retired the fighter might think about taking a shot at the titel again.
