Vitor Belfort was initially scheduled to face ‘Instagram Tarzan’ Mike Holston under the same Triller banner. But the fight was scrapped due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Belfort just has one professional boxing bout to his name. It came way back in 2006, when he was at the peak of his powers. He beat fellow Brazilian Josemario Neves in the first round via. knockout.

Oscar De La Hoya, on the other hand, last fought professionally in 2008, against Manny Pacquiao. He never fought professionally or even in a serious exhibition match after that. The 48-year old American will be backing his old slick skills when he takes on the marauding Belfort.

The organizers are looking to set up the match in Las Vegas, while also planning a host of other activities throughout the fight weekend.
