Deontey Wilder’s hot chip challenge was a compilation filled with hilarious moments. In 201, Wilder took part in the viral one-chip challenge for the Yahoo Sports YouTube channel.

During the video, the boxer bravely attempted to consume an extremely spicy chip in a single bite, initially underestimating its intensity. After taking the first bite, Wilder commented that it wasn’t too bad and suggested they should have made it spicier, as it didn’t feel particularly hot.

“Oh, this isn’t too bad, man. They should have added more spice. This is all they had? I fight for a living, man,” remarked Wilder. However, within a few seconds, the spiciness kicked in, causing Wilder to break out in sweat and tears to well up in his eyes. In a comical attempt to alleviate the discomfort, Wilder jokingly attributed his tears to the memories of his grandmother.

He stated, “It’s getting hot in here for some reason. Yeah, I’m just thinking about my grandma. The tears are coming out because of her. She was a remarkable woman who taught me everything I know.”

Deontay Wilder continued, “Ohh, I can feel the burn. Why does it make you reminisce about the good old days?” In the final stage of the challenge, Wilder was fully feeling the intense spiciness, causing him to burn inside and out, yet he persisted in making light-hearted jokes and wearing a smile on his face.
