Pele is undoubtedly the greatest player to grace the sport of soccer. Moreover, the Brazilian can make a case to be the greatest athlete of his generation. He is one of few sportspersons to have a larger-than-life persona influencing billions of people around the globe.

Back in 2020, when discussing soccer on a podcast, boxing icon Mike Tyson and legendary rap artist Snoop Dogg started talking about Pele. ‘Iron Mike’ mentioned Wayne Rooney and David Beckham before mentioning Pele. Snoop’s eyes glowed brightly right away hearing the name of the Brazilian. Iron Mike explained Pele to be one the most confident and composed people he had met.

That’s Pele, man, knock it off…Motherf***er got one name, you know, that is the s**t, Pele. First name Pe, last name Le. That’s how he should walk in the park. Yeah b**ch, first name Pe, last name Le. Believe it.”
