Brian Martin Ortega is finally going to fight after almost two years. The Mexican-American Mixed Martial Artist has been plagued with injuries ever since his first loss in his professional career, against Max Holloway way back in December 2018. He suffered a partially torn ACL, then had a knee injury back in 2019 which ruled him out of the fight against Chan Sung Jung.

The 14-1, Brian Ortega will be facing ‘The Korean Zombie’, Chan Sung Jung as the fight scheduled last year did not come to fruition due to Brian’s injury. The fight headlines UFC Fight Island 6 as both the fighters are top ranked featherweights, with Brian ranked no.2 and Chan Sung Jung no.4. Both the fighters, especially Brian will be looking forward to making a statement, this weekend at Abu Dhabi.

Earlier this year, a police report was filed against Brian Ortega, as Ortega had slapped Korean rapper Jay Park, the translator for Chan Sung Jung. This definitely didn’t go well with Chan Sung Jung and he will be looking to avenge this incident inside the octagon.

The Korean Zombie” is currently flying high, after dominating his last two opponents Frankie Edgar and Renato Moicano. Chan Sung Jung finished both of his previous two opponents in the first round, earning him the performance of the night on both the occasions. He will be looking to carry on his momentum when he faces Brian Ortega this weekend.

As for Brian, his aim would be to first step into the octagon, let alone winning the fight. All eyes will be on the Mexican-American when the bell is rung. Who do you think will emerge victorious, ‘T-City‘ or the dangerous ‘Korean Zombie‘?
