Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds and two others were the victims of a shooting last Friday while leaving a strip club in Denver. Police arrested two suspects.
In the early hours of Friday, October 18, a couple of days prior, the Broncos secured their fourth win of the season by beating the Saints. Reynolds and two of his friends went to a strip club at Shotgun Willie’s in Glendale, Colorado.
The police report revealed that after the trio left the establishment in their SUV around 2:45, another car followed them until they reached South Quebec Street and East Union Avenue. Despite the early hours, residents quickly informed the nearby stations of hearing multiple gunshots.
After the police arrived at the scene, they found two injured, including Josh Reynolds. He was shot twice. One of the bullets hit his left arm and the other at the back of his head. The third individual suffered non-bullet injuries due to coming in contact with some broken glass from their car.
According to 9News, one of the suspects told the police that he was ‘helping’ his friend follow Reynolds’ car. He claimed to be only a spectator in the entire incident and denied firing any shots. The police are analyzing the CCTV footage from the area for further proof.

The good news is that Reynolds trained at the Broncos facility on Thursday. However, it’s unclear when he will be back on the starting roster.
Reynolds has played five games so far in 2024, accumulating 12 catches for 183 yards and 1 touchdown. The former fourth-round pick signed a two-year, $9 million contract with the Denver franchise in March after a two-and-a-half-year stint with the Detroit Lions.
