When Caitlin Clark came into the WNBA, one of the first players she met was Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton. Since then, the two-time All-Star has been to games to cheer on the Fever phenom in her rookie season.

He was one of her loudest supporters as the rookie led her Indiana Fever to the playoffs after eight seasons. Along with him, his girlfriend Jade Jones and Clark’s boyfriend Connor McCaffery were together at games.

After those games, Caitlin Clark would go over and hug them, suggesting a growing friendship. That received clarity during the Pacers pre-season media sessions when Tyrese Haliburton confirmed that they are friends, even having their own group chat.

Many star athletes are friends with others. However, the closeness of these four was evident when Jade Jones posted a picture of her alongside her boyfriend ahead of the Pacers game against the New York Knicks. The post on Instagram saw a response from the Indiana Fever star.

Caitlin Clark was not responding to this post while being far away. Rather, the WNBA Rookie of the Year was at Gainbridge Fieldhouse when she allegedly replied. Photographers captured her and her boyfriend Connor sitting in the front row to watch the Pacers take on the New York Knicks.

People have introduced the 22-year-old with a lot of hype wherever she has been. Therefore, the Indiana Pacers decided to give her a proper introduction inside the very building where she performs. As the arena announcer called out her name, the packed crowd filled the stadium with loud cheers.

That was fitting as not only does Clark wear that number, but Swift is also her favorite musical artist. A fitting introduction of Indianapolis’ most famous sporting star.
