  • LeBron James continues to excel in the NBA playoffs, leading the Lakers with strong performances.

It is no secret that LeBron James and Caitlin Clark love their golf. They even share a friendly relationship with one of the best golfers in the world, Nelly Korda. Clark is a very talented golfer herself and has even played alongside Korda. Meanwhile, James is new to the sport but has turned into an avid fan of the sport over the last 12 months.

Korda shared a video of herself shooting some arcade hoops and tagged James and Clark, asking for some pointers. Clark was quick to respond and said:

Banking everything, love it.

Caitlin Clark is one of the most talented athletes in the world. During her college days, she made a name for herself in soccer and basketball before focusing on the latter.

It was later revealed that she is into golf as well and was seen taking part in the ANNIKA pro-am in November, a popular tournament on the LPGA pro-am circuit. During the tournament, she played with Nelly Korda and formed a friendship with the pro golfer. Korda was also seen giving some advice to the two-time WNBA All-Star.

Clark is heading into her third WNBA season after a lengthy spell on the sidelines last year. The Indiana Pacers kicked off their training camp this week, and Clark will be hoping to take the next step this year. The WNBA season gets underway on May 9.

LeBron James provides his input after Nelly Korda’s request

Over the last few months, LeBron James has taken an interest in golf. Several former and active NBA stars have been involved with the sport over the years, such as Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Stephen Curry, and more. James was seen hitting the golf course with his son, Bronny James, in Florida last month. The four-time champion tries to fit in some golf into his heavy schedule whenever he can.

The 41-year-old was quick to provide his own inputs as well when Korda requested some tips via Instagram. He said:

Looks like you got it all handled!!

Korda hails from a family of athletes. Her parents were professional tennis players. Her older sister, Jessica Korda, is a professional golfer as well, while her brother, Sebastian Korda, is a tennis player. Sports run in the family, and Nelly showcased it with her impressive shooting. Nelly was seen hitting all her shots, hence, James didn’t have any additional input to improve her shooting.

LeBron James will be looking to give the Los Angeles Lakers a 2-0 lead

There has been a lot of noise surrounding LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers heading into the postseason this year. After injuries to Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves towards the end of the regular season, many doubted if James could carry the team at the beginning of the playoffs at 41.

In game one, he showed he still has what it takes at the highest level after he led the Lakers to an impressive win over the Houston Rockets. He recorded a double-double as he scored 19 points, eight rebounds, and 13 assists.

The Lakers were given a major boost in game one when Kevin Durant was ruled out due to a knee contusion. If the Rockets forward is back for game two, the Lakers will need James to put in another masterclass as they look to protect home-court.

Game two will take place on Tuesday night at the Crypto.com Arena. With two days of rest, James should be ready to go and have another dominant performance for the Lakers as they look to take a 2-0 lead to Houston. James has done this whole career, but at 41, he continues to defy the odds.
