Caitlin Clark’s private DMs REVEALED by Sheryl Swoopes as WNBA controversy takes ugly turn

Caitlin Clark and Sheryl Swoopes

The Sheryl SwoopesCaitlin Clark saga has taken a dramatic turn and seems to add negative vibes to the whole buzz Rookie of the Year contender Clark is bringing to the WNBA. While fans are heavily breathing down on Swoopes for her lack of appreciation for Clark, she took to social media to share a private piece of information between her and Clark.

The private information was a chat history between Sheyrl and Caitlin Clark that dates back to February of this year. The private message revealed that she had in the past tried to clear the air with the Indiana Fever star over her past criticism.

Was having a convo with two Caitlin fans(actually nice ones) and sent this to them regarding me reaching out to CC back in February.

It all started when the four-time WNBA champion went to Gil’s Arena to make incorrect facts about Clark while she was taking the NCAA by storm, which she was humble enough to admit. However, she didn’t stop there as she used her platform as a broadcaster to disrespect her efforts, which further fueled discontent among her and CC’s loyal fan base.

The matter took another turn when she was called out by controversial analyst Stephen A. Smith on his own show, and may have ruined her relationship with fellow WNBA legend, Nancy Lieberman. It was also revealed that she got booted off from her role as a broadcaster for the Fever-Wings game.

Caitlin Clark’s Team USA snub boosts the Indiana Pacers

The WNBA and the basketball world in general have been treated to a special treat from the Caitlin Clark special as she has constantly set arenas and records on fire with her trailblazing performances. This has resulted in the fortunes of her team, the Indiana Fever, being transformed since the Olympic break was over.

The Indiana Fever’s abysmal 1-8 start to the season is now in the rearview mirror as they now boast a 16-8 record since, and are currently on a four-game winning streak, winning by 100 points in their last two games. All this because Team USA’s snub woke up a monster in the 2023 WNBA number-one pick.

Clark before the Olympic Team USA snub averaged 16.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game on 37% shooting and has since elevated her game to 19.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 9.5 assists per game on 45% shooting. The Indiana Fever would hope to continue in their impressive form when they face table scrapers, the Los Angeles Sparks.
