Earlier, this Friday, Koneru Humpy defeated Chinese world No.1 Hou Yifan in FIDE Chess.com Women's speed chess Championship and entered the final of Fourth Grand Prix. Humpy was a underdog, as she was taking on a player who was more experienced in online chess and also who enjoyed the shorter formats more. But this Sunday, things went all upside down, when in the finals against Russia's Alexandra Kosteniuk, Humpy had her chances to win but somehow, she lost. Kosteniuk won the match with 7-5, and this impeccable victory gave her 24 Grand Prix points. As for now, she will be back again on Monday, to play the super final against Ukrainian Anna Ushenina.
