Recently, popular WWE personality Cathy Kelley couldn’t help but express how much she adores the Black Widow. It led to the backstage interviewer making such bold statements on X, which raised many eyebrows.

Cathy Kelley on X stated that if she had found AJ Lee before CM Punk, she would have put a ring on her first. It was a remark Kelley made after one person was talking to her about the Best in the World’s marriage. Kelley is highly popular among the fans for her audacious claims and statements, and this was yet another playful tease by her.

The Geek Goddess has been out of WWE for almost a decade. Despite that, fans have rooted for her comeback to this date. Hence, Kelley dropping such a quirky statement has been making a lot of buzz on the internet around her name.

Speaking on the Lightweights Podcast, Kelley disclosed that growing up, she used to like Lee a lot. Her love for the Black Widow was so great that she kept wrestling as her mainstay. Besides, Kelley also went on to say that she would like to do a sit-down interview with her one day.

Interesting. I would say… And I told this to CM Punk recently, that AJ Lee was the reason why I started watching wrestling and I would really love to do a sit-down interview with her.
