Chad Johnson is calling out the websites responsible for keeping track of the net worth of famous people. Johnson accused those websites of misleading people by showing falsified data.
Johnson asked the host of the Full Send podcast to search for his net worth (how much he has earned during his playing career). After a quick Google search, the host announced Johnson’s net worth is around $5 million.
The 48-year-old quickly revealed that correct number, which is $15 million. As Johnson had a colorful playing career, he believes these websites assume he never saved money.
These net worth websites think I fall into these stereotypes & spend all my money.

Wow: Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson exposes that Net Worth websites are inaccurate by showing that he has $15 million sitting in his checking account.

"These Net Worth websites think I fall into these stereotypes & spend all my money. Why would I spend $200,000 on a watch when Time is… pic.twitter.com/5ksnv9gvBh
But that’s not true. In fact, Johnson advocates steering clear of expensive items. From his perspective, indulging in expensive branded watches is a waste of money when he can just buy a cheap replica. At the end of the day, both devices will show the exact time.
Why would I spend $200,000 on a watch when Time is FREE?!

Per the latest update on Celebrity Net Worth, Johnson has a net worth of $15 million.
Chad Johnson’s frugal lifestyle is legendary
The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Johnson 36th overall in 2001. As rookies don’t earn enough money, Johnson opted to stay at the Bengals’ stadium, ate cafeteria food, and took advantage of the facilities.

With this way of living, Johnson saved a ton of money.
You gotta remember, I stayed at the stadium the first two years because I didn’t want to spend no money. What’s the point? … Why are you telling me to go rent a house, go buy a house, or go rent a condo when everything I need is right here in the facility at Paul Brown? Showers, cafeteria, TV, couch, gaming system. What’s the point?

By his third year, Johnson had reached stardom. And that’s why former Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis told him to move out. He finally relocated to a new address.
Johnson played 10 seasons with the Bengals. He registered 751 receptions for 10,783 yards and 66 touchdowns (all are still franchise records).
After leaving Cincinnati, he had spells with the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins. He also played for Montreal in the CFL and Monterey in Mexico. Johnson never officially announced his retirement. But he hasn’t played in the NFL since 2011. So, there’s no scope for a shock return, and he’s pushing 50.
Johnson earned three All-Pro and six Pro Bowl honors. In September 2023, the Bengals inducted Johnson into the franchise Hall of Fame.
Chad Johnson’s generous gesture for World Cup fans wins hearts
Johnson rose to fame through his explosive plays in the NFL. However, he has a soft spot for soccer. Soccer fans welcomed Ocho at a local bar to watch USA’s round of 32 clash against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Johnson promised to buy drinks for everyone inside the establishment if the USMNT scored first. And they did, thanks to Folarin Balogun. Ocho is a man of his word.
I’m a man of my word. Told @draftkings_sports if Team USA scored first, the drinks were on me… 😂🇺🇸🍻 #USA #WorldCup pic.twitter.com/bzmKG2NhQL

The game took a shocking turn when the official showed Balogun a red card. Even though Bosnia piled pressure on the USA defense, the ten-man Stars and Stripes scored again. This time through Malik Tillman. USA hung on to win 2-0 and advanced to the next stage, where they will play against Belgium. That said, Ocho showed his disdain for the referee dismissing Balogun.
Terrible way to end this game 😤

There’s anger among US soccer fans because FIFA rules dictate they aren’t permitted to challenge Balogun’s red card. So, Balogun will miss the Belgium game.
