The new WWE regime has put in a lot of effort to elevate the status of SummerSlam. The company wishes to make it feel like WrestleMania, but in the summer. They recently announced that next year’s show will be a two-night event. Furthermore, they collaborated with Cardi B to act as a brand ambassador for the Biggest Party of the Summer and join Bianca Belair for a special shoot.

WWE recently uploaded a video featuring Cardi B and Belair making the official announcement for SummerSlam 2025. The show is coming to the MetLife Stadium on August 2nd and 3rd. Chelsea Green re-posted this video with a wild claim. Green said that she was the American rapper’s first choice to be featured in the video.

The MetLife Stadium in New Jersey is known for hosting WrestleMania in the past and will feature the first-ever two-night SummerSlam. Belair is also expected to be a part of a high-profile match at the event. She is a huge part of the event’s marketing, posters, and other promotional media.

While this tweet was obviously a joke, AEW star Mercedes Mone made serious claims that WWE stole a collaboration from her. Mone felt that her publicly stating that she was about to work with Megan Thee Stallion was a mistake. WWE heard the announcement and hired the rapper to produce the new SmackDown theme song, agitating the AEW TBS Champion.

Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Belair revealed that the best part of her year so far was when she and her husband, Montez Ford, starred in the Hulu series, ‘Love and WWE: Bianca and Montez’. Although she was initially hesitant about participating in such a TV show, her shooting experience was phenomenal. She has to be herself rather than portray a character like she does on WWE programming.

I would say the highlight this year would be my husband and I’s reality series coming out on Hulu…That was something very new that we got to experience together. And I feel like we got to to pull the curtain back and show a different side of us to the WWE Universe.

The shoot was very tiring, as they had to shoot for nearly six months straight. However, she was very happy with the way that the final product turned out. The former Women’s Champion is still waiting to hear from the producers about a second season of the show.
