Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Capitals My Team 11 Team Prediction IPL 2021: Top My Team 11 picks for CSK vs MI
CSK vs DC My Team 11 Prediction
The future meets the past in the second game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals locks horns with MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings. The sides had a very contrasting seasons last time around with DC playing their maiden IPL final while CSK failing to make it to the playoffs. The sides will be playing their first game of the season at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from 8:00 pm onwards behind closed doors.
Both the sides will be missing their overseas quicks as they undergo a week long quarantine according to the bio secure protocols. While Dhoni and Co. will be looking to make a statement in this brand new season, Pant will be keen on making a statement in his maiden season as skipper. The game is set to be a cracker with both the sides featuring some big names.
Team Preview – Chennai Super Kings
The three time champions are coming off their worst ever season in the history of the league. And so will be eager to bounce back strongly. Going into the new season, CSK have revamped their middle order which was a huge cause of worry for them last season. With the inclusion of Moeen Ali and the return of Suresh Raina, the Super Kings look a much more balanced side this time around.
The Wankhede Stadium will be the home of the Super Kings for the 14th season of the IPL. The high scoring venue will be a huge test for the Chennai bowling unit. With Josh Hazlewood pulling out of the league, CSK will be down on bowlers with express pace. Lungi Ngidi remains the only bowler for them with some serious pace to trouble the batsmen on a flat deck.
Team Preview – Delhi Capitals
The Capitals’ young brigade was the most exciting team in IPL 2020.Having played their maiden IPL final in the last season, DC will looking to go that one step further and lift the title. The Capitals have all that a team needs to succeed in the league but lack of consistency cost them the title last time around. With a change in leadership and new signings, they might emerge as a force to reckon this season too.
The team looks solid on paper with the batting line-up studded with flamboyant batsmen even in Shreyas Iyer‘s absence. The bowling line up featuring the intimidating South African duo of Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje was impressive in the last season and the franchise will be expecting the same this time around too. The key will be how the side performs in their absence as they go through the mandatory quarantine period before joining the side.
