“100% overrated phony boy band,” CM Punk’s controversial opinion of The Beatles leaves female WWE personality in utter disbelief

In what might be a vastly unpopular opinion, the Beatles are way too overrated for someone like CM Punk, who's not alone.

Out of everyone, CM Punk isn’t aboard the Beatles hype train. The Straight Edge Superstar called the legendary English rock band “100% overrated” and a “phony boy band” in a revelation to Jackie Redmond. On the same page with Punk was Raw ring announcer Alicia Taylor. Learning that both of them don’t like the Beatles, Redmond freaked out in disbelief.

As seen in the following clip, The Best in the World even flipped off the camera while saying, “F**k you, Sgt. Pepper.” The former AEW star doesn’t seem to like what has been hailed as one of the greatest albums that holds the distinction of being ranked #1 on Rolling Stone‘s Greatest Albums of All Time list. But if not someone like the Beatles, whom does Punk listen to?

In a recent appearance on Sheamus‘ Celtic Warrior Workouts episode, the Second City Saint revealed that he has songs by Doechii and Chappell Roan on his playlist. Punk named them when The Celtic Warrior asked the 46-year-old to reveal the most embarrassing song on his playlist. Punk said he didn’t have any but namedropped the aforementioned singers whom people might assume he wouldn’t be a fan of.

100% overrated……just a bunch of phony boy band that was manufactured and went through ******* phases.

CM Punk on the Beatles

On Sunday, The Voice of the Voiceless once again wrestled Gunther in Amsterdam. It’s the third time he’s gone one-on-one with The Ring General of late. WWE’s two-week stay in Europe ends tonight with a taping of Monday Night Raw in London. In the meantime, the local crowds in Belfast, Vienna, and now in the Dutch capital witnessed two in-ring stalwarts in Punk and Gunther display their off-the-charts chemistry.

CM Punk realized his lifelong WrestleMania dream on SmackDown

For the very first time in his career, CM Punk will close out a night of WrestleMania. It’ll happen in a matter of three weeks when he goes to war against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple-threat featuring three former world champions. They met last Friday on SmackDown to make it official via contract signing.

Just when Punk was going through the papers, his former manager, Paul Heyman, revealed that the Chicagoan will indeed main event WrestleMania. The Straight Edge Superstar got emotional and even received a kiss to the forehead from Heyman.

As it happened, Reigns asked Punk to acknowledge him, as he’s the reason why the 46-year-old is going to live his lifelong dream. Simultaneously, Rollins went off on the mic. He couldn’t stand the fact that despite screwing him over and over again, Punk is getting a spot Seth never wanted Punk to be in.

That’s why The Visionary robbed the veteran inside the Elimination Chamber and was heard screaming “die” at a visibly fading Punk, who was in the clutches of John Cena. After a heated segment on SmackDown, Reigns and Rollins kept talking trash with each other while The Best in the World exited gleefully.

The Rock clears the air on his relationship with CM Punk

It seems like two formal rivals are over the real-life animosity they may have harbored for each other years ago. The men in question are CM Punk and The Rock. Recently, an influencer posted a video listing the reasons why The Best in the World would never main event WrestleMania until The Final Boss has backstage influence in WWE.

The once-believed conspiracy got reignited last year when Punk’s Hell in a Cell showdown with Drew McIntyre didn’t close out Bad Blood. In fact, it was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who made his return in the dying moments of the PLE.

Reacting to the aforementioned video, the Hollywood mogul dumped on the narrative that he hates Punk. Johnson claimed that he’s become great friends with The Second City Saint over the years. Also, Rock added that the most long-term benefitting story will get the privilege to main event WrestleMania.
