CM Punk delivered a borderline pipe bomb on this week’s Raw in Houston. It started off with him informing the fans that Roman Reigns wasn’t in the building. He quickly reminded everyone how he used his cousins to put him through the ringside commentary desk a couple of weeks ago. But when Punk turned up to Raw in MSG a week later, he was cousinless and returned the favor to Reigns all by himself.

The World Heavyweight Champion said he’s content with fraud-checking goofs like Reigns hating him because he wouldn’t trade his authenticity for approval. Punk proceeded on to explain to every fan that bothered to show up on Raw, unlike Reigns, why he couldn’t stand the ‘Tribal Chief’. The Chicagoan stressed that both he and Reigns had the tools to climb the mountaintop at WrestleMania.

But where on one side Punk’s tools were self-made and sharpened through years of hard work and sacrifice, Reigns’ were store-bought and plastic just like him. ‘The Best in the World’ said he understood why WWE and TKO recently sent Reigns on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. It’s because he was safe and manufactured as opposed to Punk’s unpredictability and dangerous demeanor.

After harping on Roman Reigns‘ paltry work schedule, the ‘Second City Saint’ affirmed that ‘The OTC’ arrives late and gleefully leaves early even when he does bother to show up. Punk quipped that Reigns puffs his chest around backstage as if he were The Rock, who was a Hollywood superstar at least as per Punk. But the latter retracted the very next moment by saying that Dwayne Johnson was like that, implying he’s not one anymore.

After taking a swipe at ‘The Great One’, Punk stressed that Reigns was a champion and that the fairytale is long over because it’s pro wrestling and not cinema. ‘The Straight Edge Superstar’ said that his cousin isn’t on the TKO Board of Directors, and neither is his dad was a pro wrestler who gave him a favor job because he was terrible at football.

Punk said he’s paid his dues and earned everything he has accomplished in this business by himself. But Reigns? He’s just a bucktooth nepo baby who ate dog food for a weird old man, and it was Vince McMahon whom CM Punk was referring to. ‘The Cookie Master’ aimed a dig at the former WWE CEO by stating that he gave him pathetic treatment for years and expected Punk to just put up with it.

However, Punk had shunned money and walked out of WWE to protect his dignity, and that’s why people like Reigns detest him. Punk added that Reigns couldn’t pull the strings on him like he so often does to other people and even his own family members. Punk then shattered the facade that Reigns puts on and keeps bragging about—having headlined WrestleMania 10 times and now going for a record 11th one.

‘The Voice of the Voiceless’ underscored how Reigns spectacularly failed in 8 of those opportunities that were handed to him and never faced any consequences for it when anyone else in his place would’ve been fired and blackballed right away. At last, he said that neither Reigns nor WWE could blackball him because even if he blew up the bridge he was standing on, he’d do it gleefully as he knew how to swim.

CM Punk went after Pat McAfee and Ari Emanuel after Roman Reigns hate-speech on Raw

After having trashed not only Roman Reigns but also his cousin The Rock and former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, CM Punk decided to double down on the mess that TKO has conjured up with the pointless integration of Pat McAfee into the storyline featuring Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.

Punk seemingly used “Magafee” to mock Pat and dressed him down for coming to the business of pro wrestling and running his mouth. Speaking of the WrestleMania ticket sales that have been lagging behind this year, CM Punk asked McAfee to call his agent that was foolish enough to shoehorn him into WWE programming and instead ask him to lower the ticket prices.

The crowd erupted in unison as soon as the 47-year-old dropped that line. One could feel it came directly from Punk’s heart. He said he’d be damned if he were like McAfee, who kicked a football for a living—talk about selling tickets in pro wrestling. The former NFL punter criticized the current state of WWE on SmackDown, calling for the business to be saved.

Punk reiterated about lowering the ticket prices because he wants more families to attend WrestleMania and see him step on Reigns’ throat because his name is CM Punk and he had approved that message. Punk slammed the mic to the floor in disgust to end his vituperative speech that had Reigns, Rock, McMahon, and even the TKO CEO Ari Emanuel catching strays.
